How low can you go?

So, NBC may not like Terre Haute, but someone does. Hootie and the Blowfish have sunk to new levels of low as they will be appearing at the Terre Haute Wal-Mart to sign autographs.

My favorite part about the story that had me laughing out loud:

"Their upcoming appearance at Terre Haute’s southside Wal-Mart was the store’s reward for winning a sales competition organized by Pepsi, Francis explained. The store sold more than 1,000 cases of the soft drink Cheerwine, topping other Wal-Mart outlets in this Midwest region.'So the winner of that got Hootie & the Blowfish for a couple of hours in the store,' Francis said."

That's, umm, really sad.
