American Idol: Another One Bites the Dust
I don't know why the show decided that even though they had too much time in a half hour results show that an hour long results show would be even better. I didn't even tune in until the last half hour. I expected that they would have narrowed it down to three by that point. Not so. Instead, they had wasted their time on several pointless tasks including Ryan going out and finding plants American Idol Employees completely random people on the street who thought J.Lo was an excellent teacher. This show does so much to stroke its own ego and the egos of the guest stars, it's sickening.
Then they got to the final 3. Can't say I'm shocked by any of them. Though I was shocked by realization that I actually didn't mind that Sanjaya didn't hit the bottom three. My detestation for the other 3 contestants exceeds any feeling that I need Sanjaya gone. More than any other time in this show's history, I hoped they'd pull an "Apprentice" and get rid of at least 2, if not all 3. After the boring performance shows we've been seeing, this show could use a boost of excitement.
